My journey into activism has been evolving in recent years—driven by visibility, lived experience, and the desire to create meaningful change.
In 2022, I collaborated with inclusive associations across Tenerife and proudly participated in events at La Laguna Orgullosa, making space for pride and progress on the island.
Later that year, I appeared in public events in Gran Canaria with the Transwomen Canarias association, including the December 10th demonstration, visible here. These gatherings became powerful moments of solidarity and storytelling.
In 2023, I took a more direct role in advocacy by founding Inclufem, an activist association committed to defending the rights of non-binary people, with special emphasis on healthcare equity and access.
I’ve had the opportunity to raise awareness through media as well. In late 2024, I spoke with La Provincia about delays in trans healthcare, and you can read the interview here. I’ve also appeared on local television to share my voice with broader audiences—watch the feature here.
For me, activism is more than visibility—it’s about creating sustainable systems, standing up for rights, and building community from compassion. It’s where identity meets action, and where change begins with people like us.
