Zoltrix Rainbow Classic driver
This is a driver for the Zoltrix Rainbow Classic modems, also known as FM-56e, for Windows 2000 and XP.
For many years the manufacturer didn't publish a driver for these systems, always delaying it saying "currently under development".
Here you can find a modification of the official driver for Windows 98 that makes it work under Windows 2000 and XP.
It should also work under Windows Vista, if you disable driver signature enforcements.
To install it, reboot the system with the modem connect and powered on, and when the hardware assistant asks you for a driver, select "use disk" and choose the uncompressed driver.
Once did so, the modem will be perfectly usable as a 56Kbps modem.
